solid foundation for soverign state of south sudan

BIRTH OF A NEW NATION AND THE IMPERATIVE OF BUILDING A SOLID AND ENDURING FOUNDATION- SOUTH SUDAN
Well 9th of July may not mean much to millions or even billions of people across the globe but it is  a great day viewed with great nostalgia and a heave of relief for millions of people in SOUTH SUDAN and perhaps another hundreds of millions of concerned Africans and others across the globe that watched loathsomely as over two million Sudanese particularly from Southern Sudan perish in one of the most gruesome struggles for  freedom and independence that spanned an unbelievable twenty dark years. One may wonder why this enormous sacrifice, but when you weigh it to several centuries of subjugation of the South Sudan by the North you may not be far from the truth if you dare voice it out that the struggle was worth it. CONGRATULATIONS the SOVERIGN STATE OF SOUTH SUDAN!

Now winning of political independence is one thing but building a viral great nation and great economy are another kettles of fish but it is a task that purposeful leadership is always capable of surmounting. Many countries have steeped from independence and just a few years after unfortunately stepped into a civil war because of irresponsible and foolish leadership. The leaders of South Sudan should not think that they are in anyway immune from this dangerous possibility more so when North Sudan is capable of any vice under high heaven.

The challenges facing the leadership of the sovereign state of South Sudan among others include; A) Social and political integration of the people of South Sudan B)The perceived malaise of crude oil C) Building super structures that are endurable and befitting building of a viral nation and D) Boarder conflict with North Sudan.
A Social and political integration of people of South Sudan
All leaders of nationalities in South Sudan must be brought together immediately for a frank, open and honest talk to iron out a robust constitution which the leaders of South Sudan must adhere to with mathematical precession and extreme honesty and care. This will help to ensure viral united sovereign South Sudan. The constitution must also put the military where it rightly belongs and ensure that they do not attempt the kind of escapade they did in places like Nigeria and Cot devoir!
B The Perceived Malaise of Crude Oil
It is perceived that most places crude oil is found that it comes with some kind of challenge. In Nigeria for instance, the environment is almost completely destroyed along with untold suffering to humans that inhabit the exploration sites in other places there are also some other kind of challenges but there are many places that it is been managed well, but the leaders of South Sudan should not be fooled by these perceptions. From this inception the leaders of South Sudan must have a complete view of what crude oil offers and its challenge to the environment and the wellbeing of those living at or near the exploration site. Since South Sudan is Land locked it means that 100% of where oil is found in South Sudan is inhabited by people. So ab-inition the environment must be properly considered and planned for and the people who are privileged to be living at the exploration site should and must be adequately taken care of as it should be by having a credible revenue allocation mechanism. The leaders of South Sudan must realize that it is not crude oil that is posing the challenge but its management or rather mismanagement and of course the greed of the leaders and  the well known grasshopper mentality of many of African leaders.

C) Building Of SUPER STRUCTURES
The leaders of South Sudan must manage the oil resources well to ensure that the following critical developmental super structures are provided unfailingly: a) Education Must invest wisely and heavily in the education of South Sudan people in order to have a manpower capable of relevance in a global hall, the world is turning into rapidly. B) Power A thorough estimate of the power need of South Sudan in the immediate, 5 years, ten years and 20 years time should be readied immediately so that the oil money should be prudently invested in it to ensure adequate electric power for the South Sudan people and perhaps the environ. A number of power sources including solar and wind should be seriously considered to enable South Sudan attract industrialist from across the globe. C) Transportation Money should wisely be allocated to developing major road trunks with at least 20 to 30 years’ life span plus strategic railways including a few strategic airports more so when South Sudan is land locked. D) Industrial Expansion There should be well mapped out industrial areas with basic infrastructures like power clean water and accessible roads and possible rail access to the sites. Most especially South Sudan must try as much as possible to avoid the mistake that Nigeria made by abandoning agriculture and diversification of the economy. South Sudan leadership should follow the example of United Arab emirate (DUBAI) that diversified by investing heavily in tourism, by identifying relevant areas of diversification applicable to South Sudan and follow it diligently. South Sudan also now has a unique chance to plan its city well with adequate drainage system and waste management system as well as beautification of South Sudan.
D Boarder Conflict with North Sudan
To me this conflict is a non issue or rather it is an issue the South Sudan leadership can use effectively to put the arrogant Al-Barshir to where he belongs. It is the North that requires the help of the South Sudan to secure cheap crude oil. It is actually the so called boarder conflict that the South Sudan with proper manoeuvring would use to make the North Sudan pay appropriate money for the crude oil supplied to it and at the same time allow unrestricted transportation of the South Sudan crude if it is lucky. If Al-Barshir continue with his foolish arrogance, South Sudan after containing it at the border and taking time to build its military muscle and once that is accomplished can tell Al-Barshir to eat his oil pipeline while South Sudan should strike a new oil transportation deal with either Eritrea Ethiopia or Kenya though I personally think that Kenya is more suited through its M even at Mombasa port even at a better deal and more economical and national security reasons.

HAPPY BIRTH DAY AGAIN THE SOVERIGN STATE OF SOUTH SUDAN!!!!!!
